Screencaps for Ep 3.02 added
The screencaps for The Most Deadly Species were added to the episodes' page. Murray Brennan, a syndicate boss of San Francisco's underworld and an 'old acquaintance' of Mike Stone, seeks revenge after his son and successor was kidnapped and killed. Mike and Steve are investigating the case, while Steve is seduced by his new and attractive neighbour. Mike already hears wedding bells ringing; however, little do our two cops know that the beauty is a hit-woman who is gaining valuable intelligence from love-struck Steve for her assignment. When the suspected murderer of Brennan's son is found dead, Mike entertains some doubt. His instinct as well as crime lab techniques finally reveal the truth behind Steve's latest romance.
This episode starts at famous Candlestick Park, home to the San Francisco Giants as well as the 49ers back then, and just demolished in the first half of 2015. The following chase between the kidnappers and young Brennan's bodyguard leads them to an adjacent scrap yard where the bodyguard is killed. Syndicate boss Murray Brennan's mansion is located in the Pacific Heights district, and his son is found dead in a funeral home in the Mission district. We are also taken to Telegraph Hill - to the house of Steve's and Sydney's apartments, precisely - and back to the southern part of Mission district where Murray Brennan meets hit-woman Sydney in the old St. Anthony of Padua church (which was demolished after a severe fire just a year later). Sydney kills kidnapper Lloyd Davies in 'The Connection' bar, located in Noe Valley. Mike and Steve interrogate injured mortician Marioni at Davies Medical Center in the Duboce Triangle, whereas this episode's climax takes us to the Palace of Fine Arts.
ABC Press Photo Gallery extended!
The media page now offers another five original ABC press release photos. This time, I added shots from season two episodes Betrayed, starring Martin Sheen, and Blockade, starring Ida Lupino (both photos are potraits of their respective character), as well as of season 3 episode Letter From The Grave, season 4 episode Clown of Death (showing Mike in full make-up), and season 5 episode Dead or Alive.
Unfortunately, I have seen that some people in the worldwide web (in this case the founder of a german language Facebook group on the series) do not respect common rules of good manner when it comes down to the use of pictures and other kinds of website contents (media brochures, TV guide covers etc.). Therefore, I had to make the decision and added a visible watermark to all press release pictures published on this website. Sorry for any kind of inconvenience. The copyright for the original photos still lies with the relevant television and production companies, of course.
I have also prepared some original filming locations photography which is being uploaded soon. Enjoy. :)
Screencaps for Ep 3.01 added
I have just added the screencaps for One Last Shot to the episodes' page. Officer Joe Landers is suffering from alcoholic dependancy. Following a robbery in a local market, Landers and his veteran partner, Mel Shaffer, chase a suspect whose car seems to match the description provided by police headquarters. Under the influence of the cheap booze he consumed in a rest room a few minutes earlier, Landers manhandles the suspect and draws his gun. The suspect, Robert Graves, tries to make him take the gun down, and in the following close fight, the weapon goes off and Landers' partner is shot. Knowing the situation would get into a 'a former crook's word against a cop's word', Graves knocks down benumbed Landers and escapes. Little does Landers know that two eye-witnesses observed the situation, and his old friend's widow does not seem to have faith in him neither - nor does Corky Shaffer, Mel's son who also serves as a police officer. When Mike and Steve turn their focus onto a possible killing by a drunken cop, paranoia adds to Landers' symptoms, resulting in attempts on the lives of our two cops as well.
This episode's opening scenes were all filmed between Inner Richmond, Laurel Heights, and The Panhandle, including the chase and shooting between Landers and Graves. For the characters' homes, the film crew moved over to Dolores Heights, where not only Officer Shaffer's and Joe Lander's homes are located but also the house of suspect Robert Graves and his pregnant wife (their neat house, however, was demolished in the meantime). They also used to film several sequences on the SFPD headquarters' former parking lot and inside the lobby on Bryant Street, whereas Graves' interim hideouts (the first one being where Landers erroneously shoots at Steve, and the second one where Graves meets his brother) were located in the Western Addition. His paranoia finally leads drunken Landers to the skidrow part of Embarcadero underneath the elevated freeway between Mission and Howard Streets before he shoots on Mike Stone in his homicide bureau.
Diana Douglas Passes away at the age of 92!
Diana Douglas, actress and mother of Michael Douglas, passed away on July 3rd, 2015 in Los Angeles.
Born as Diana Dill on the Bermudas in 1923, Diana Douglas was married to Kirk Douglas from 1943 to 1951. She co-starred in season 2 episode Chapel of the Damned besides her son and Karl Malden as Mrs. Adele Sloan, a wealthy widow, who rather confessed in a female psychic's alleged abilities than in Stone's and Keller's professional work.
Screencaps for Ep 2.23 added & Season 2 completed!

I have just added the screencaps for Death and the Favored Few to the episodes' page. Terence Aubrey, editor of a local high society magazine, is shot to death after returning from a drinking session by night. Stone and Keller soon find out that Aubrey had attended a party at Etta Morris Randolph’s mansion before, a wealthy widow and influential member of San Francisco's high society. They learn Aubrey was not that much of a welcomed visitor in the eyes of many of the other guests, and Mrs. Randolph also lets them know about her general dislike for him. Our two cops smell there are secrets untold, and their investigations produce that Aubrey actually blackmailed several individuals of the high society who have secrets to hide - with Mrs. Randolph being one of them, and her mentally unbalanced daughter, Joanna. Mike and Steve are getting more involved when Joanna's ex husband, who is addicted to drugs, threatens her to kidnap their daughter for ransom. As the murder case seems to get solved, another family secret offers a different perspective.
Many scenes were filmed in and around Ralston Hall Mansion in Belmont, south of San Francisco, which served as Etta Morris Randolph's imposing mansion. Aubrey's house is located at 1212 Lombard Street, and his office was at 131 Townsend. Steve chases down to the industrial harbour where his car finally crashes into a wooden hut close to Pier 70. Mike interviews Roger and Louise Maxwell at the Golden Gate Park tennis courts, and Steve goes to Maxwell's law office at 220 Jackson Street. He also visits the Fifth & Mission Parking Garage where Joanna's ex husband used to work for a while. Police can finally bust Joanna's ex husband at John McLaren Park.
